One of the biggest issues that Downtown Bryan Businesses have had with past Texas Reds festivals, especially restaurants, was that their regular customers can’t come patronize them due to blocked streets, and festival goers are eating and buying in the streets, from out of town vendors, in many cases.
In a move that is sure to please the Downtown Business Community, this year the Downtown Bryan Association is actively helping local Downtown restaurants and merchants in the following ways, as quoted in their most recent merchant association newsletter:
Please let us know if you will be featuring a steak special during Texas Reds, so we can publicize it. Send info to email@example.com. Restaurants may extend service in front of their business, as well. Please let us know if you will do this.Attention MERCHANTS!You are invited to have a booth at no charge in the vendor area. You must provide your own tent. Please let us know if you want the space by Sept. 1.Don’t forget – tickets are now on sale! Save 20% on all ticket packages with “20UNTIL20” through Aug. 20.
