New Exhibit at The Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley

10708643_10154616902470158_8708792336245492621_oIn conjunction with the City of Bryan Animal Center, and the Veterinary Technology program at Blinn College, The Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley is excited to announce the arrival of its newest exhibit – The Family Pet Center! The exhibit features animal grooming supplies, lab equipment, dog kennels, veterinarian models, and a screen for veterinarian X-rays. Activities will include cleaning stuffed animals in the grooming station, determining what diet is best for your pet, identifying basic principles of animal care, identifying animal characteristics, examining specimens, live demonstrations and exhibitions of shelter animals, and engaging families in cooperative play and problem solving.

This exhibit was designed by Nathan Winchester Designs and is sponsored by the Blinn College Veterinary Technology Program and the City of Bryan Animal Center.
