SoCo Apartments at Tower Point, a luxury apartment complex in South College Station, sponsored the main stage and community stage during The 2nd Annual Spirit of Texas Festival, presented by H-E-B’s Creamy Creations. The festival was held March 23-25 at Wolf Pen Creek Park in College Station, Texas. Admission was free.
The 2nd annual festival, which celebrated all things Texas, offered multiple opportunities for guests to enjoy amazing performances, thanks to the support of SoCo Apartments. Festival goers were able to listen to top musicians such as Stephanie Quayle and Las Fenix on the main stage. In addition, performers from across the Brazos Valley, such as the Lil Wrangers, were highlighted on the community stage.
The festival also included a number of food trucks competing in the Curbside Smackdown Food Truck Competition, a BBQ cook-off, IDEA Village educational pods, a trading market and a pony hop rodeo.
“Sponsors like SoCo Apartments make the Spirit of Texas Festival possible,” said Cynthia Caronna, the festival’s founder and executive director. “Our festival gives families the opportunity to explore some of the best that Texas has to offer, all in one place. In addition, this event offers something for everyone in the family – the shopper, the foodie, the music lover, the budding performer.”
The Spirit of Texas Festival supported nonprofits whose work affect the lives of youth: the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Brazos Valley; Von’s Vision (founded by Texas A&M football legend Von Miller); K9s4KIDs; and Mobility Worldwide.
