CMBV Launch Pad! Kids Entrepreneurship Workshop at Century Square

Give your kids a jump-start this summer at the CMBV Launch Pad Summer Entrepreneurship Workshop for kids! The Launch Pad is an 8-week Kids Entrepreneurship Workshop Series for kids ages 8-15. Workshops will be taught by local business leaders, experts and entrepreneurs, and are designed to spark an interest in business for local kids. This summer workshop series will conclude with a Kids Entrepreneurship Market on Saturday, August 11th for your young entrepreneur to sell and/or market their products or services. All children who complete the required coursework, and participate in the market will receive a FREE one year membership to the B-CS Chamber of Commerce.

All sessions will be from 6pm-7pm, and will be held at Century Square. Workshop Series Schedule:

Session 1: June 5 – Basics of Being an Entrepreneur and Brainstorming Business Ideas

Session 2: June 12 – Choosing Your Business Idea

Session 3: June 19 – Make a Plan for Your Business

Session 4: June 26 – Budgeting for your Business

Session 5: July 10 – Connecting with Customers through Branding & Marketing

Session 6: July 17 – Customer Service & Quality Control

 Session 7: July 24 – Sales

Session 8: July 31 – Managing your business & growth strategies
